New Locale for IPA Tapping

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are trying a new area for the tapping. It seems as though there is either too many Mug Clubbers at the tappings, or the room is too small! I say we get a bigger room -- so we did. The tapping this Tuesday will be held in the banquet room so hopefully there will be a seat for everyone. On a different note, make sure to renew your memberships (if you are due) by JULY 1st. We will be opening up membership opportunities with additional spots and by spots vacated by members not renewing. Thanks.

ABV: 7.5%
The details: A whole lotta Summit hops in the boil followed by a generous helping of Summit & Chinook for dry hopping. Nine (9) different malts were used in this recipe, that's right, NINE!

So prepare those taste buds and get ready to "rye"m...

NEXT Tapping June 9th, 7pm

We are moving into spring and I can't think of a better time to tap our Frühling (Springtime in German) Kölsch. A Kölsch is a light hybrid beer style originating from Köln, Germany. It uses an ale yeast that is fermented close to lager yeast temperatures, yielding a beer with many of the same characteristics as a lager and an ale. It is an easy drinking, slightly fruity, light ale with a hint of black pepper in the finish thanks to the Saaz hop addition. Please join us at 7pm for an hour of beer, bites, and conversation.

MUG CLUB RENEWAL TIME!!!!!

Hello all Mug Clubbers! Thanks for all of your continued support. For all of those who started their memberships in the summer (about half of you), starting MONDAY, JUNE 1st, you may stop in to renew your memberships. Renewal is $20 and includes all the benefits except no new shirt. PLEASE try to stop in and take care of this ASAP as we need to start extending any open invitations to more than 75 patient people on the waiting list. If you don't meet the deadline of June 30, you will be put back on the waiting list (at your request), but will be out of the mug club for some time.

********IPA TAPPING ALERT**************

Hello Mug Clubbers! Once again we will be tapping an IPA, this one to be held on Tuesday, May 19th. Members are welcome to a pint starting at 7pm. Based on Mug Club feedback, this evening we will be having a small table of appetizers for our event.

It is my pleasure to introduce "Time-Out" IPA. This brew features the Centennial hop in the boil for both floral and citrus notes. A 4 hop addition to the fermenter adds hop complexity in grapefruit, pine and spicy flavors. This beer's color is light to medium straw and comes in at 7.7% ABV. Take a time-out and be at this release!

Next Mug Club Tapping to celebrate American Craft Beer Week

We don't usually hold tappings on Monday, but we are kicking off our celebration of American Craft Beer Week with this tapping. AmCBW will be May 11th - 17th and we will have one $3 pint on the menu with the style changing each day. April 24th Pre-Dark Lord Day Bar-B-Q - Tapping a double Belgian-style Wit "White Lady". Mug Clubbers will receive a pint as usual 6:00pm. Other special bottles also for sale.
